Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Ready for Tasting
Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo is produced using the Montepulciano grape and is one of the most popular Italian wines of its genre. The presence of antioxidants that characterizes Montepulciano makes Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo a rosé wine with surprising longevity. Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo DOC was traditionally a wine intended for family consumption that has over time won the success of the markets, ultimately culminating in 2010 with the DOC recognition, the only one dedicated exclusively to a rosé wine.
Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo has as its characteristic notes, an intense and bright cherry pink color, the fruity and spicy notes of a Montepulciano, along with the warmth and structure which red wine occasionally embodies.
For the tasting of Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo we recommend opening the bottle half an hour before tasting. Use a medium-sized glass with sufficient lighting to favor the diffusion of aromas. The ideal temperature for serving and tasting is 8-18 ° C.
Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo shows a bright cherry pink color, with approximately intense shades, usually with a good consistency.
On the nose, Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo is characterized by a tempting note of red fruit, in particular, black cherry, which clearly identifies the grape variety. The sip is rich, with a great freshness, a marked sapidity and a good balance between softness and alcohol taste.
This wine is perfect to accompany grilled or casserole fish dishes, but also with cold cuts, grilled white meats, and medium-aged cheeses, the wine is most regularly associated with aperitives. Rieccolo Cerasuolo Premium will give you the opportunity to taste this flavor of Italy and Abruzzo.
